This Privacy Policy explains how Haven Technologies LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Haven mobile application and our website.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Haven, information may include your email address and account details, messages you send to the AI companion, journal reflections, mood selections, check-in information, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service. We may also receive information you send us when contacting support.

How we use information

We use information to create and maintain accounts; provide conversations, journaling, and other app features; respond to support requests; maintain service reliability and security; and meet applicable legal obligations.

AI processing and service providers

Haven uses third-party technology providers to host app functionality and process AI conversations. Content submitted to AI features may be sent to an AI service provider to generate responses. These providers process information to provide services to Haven under their applicable terms and arrangements. Avoid sharing information you do not want processed through an AI service.

Retention and deletion

We retain information as needed to provide the service and for legitimate operational or legal purposes. You can request deletion through Profile → Account Management in the app, or contact us using the email below if you cannot access your account. Deletion of an account and associated content may not immediately remove information that must be retained for security, legal compliance, or other lawful reasons.

Sharing

We may share information with service providers that help operate Haven, when required by law, or when necessary to protect rights and safety. We do not describe Haven as a public social network, and your private journal and conversation content is not intended to be publicly displayed.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Haven is intended for adults age 18 and older. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
